About Sabrina D. Black

Sabrina D. Black, M.A. L.L.P.C., C.A.C. – 1, is the Clinical Director of Abundant Life Counseling Center, an outpatient mental health facility, which emphasizes spiritual values. Among her credentials, Mrs. Black is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Addictions Counselor and Certified Biblical Counselor with 17 years of experience in individual, family and group counseling.

She has degrees in psychology and counseling. Sabrina has expertise in the fields of gambling addiction, sexual addiction and sexual abuse, relational problems due to substance abuse, issues relating to clergy and ministry leaders, marital conflicts and communication, boundaries, spiritual growth, stress, anxiety, burnout, and anger management.

As an author, national and international speaker for conferences, retreats and workshops, Sabrina’s dynamic message of life’s struggles, temptations and triumphs challenges others to deal with the real issues of Christian living. She is a much sought after consultant for schools, churches, corporations, and organizations.

Sabrina D. Black is adjunct faculty at Ashland Theological Seminary, Cornerstone University and a regional instructor for Christian Research and Development. Sabrina is president of the National Biblical Counselors Association, chairperson of the Black division of the American Association of Christian Counselors (BAACC) and an active member of several other organizations including MCA, ASGW, IAMFC, CRW, ACW-Detroit, AWSA and the Lydia Circle of Business and Professional Women.

Sabrina is an overseas Missionary and has been to Romania, the West Indies, and has also made nine trips to Africa teaching, preaching and reaching the masses with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sabrina lives in Detroit, Michigan with her husband Warren Jose’ Black. Sabrina’s goal is to help God’s people live the Abundant Life through hope, help, and healing!
